This is just an average product at an average price. But since the shipping was free it was easier than a trip to the local computer discount house and of course no sales tax. If you have to pay shipping it would be a poor value. When it is available with free shipping, I would recommend the product. Was this review helpful?

This Kingston 2GB DataTraveler USB 2.0 Flash Drive is perfect. It is simple to use, fast, and doesn't come preloaded with a bunch of unnecessary utility software that I've found often confounds users who switch between Mac and PC computers. I was pleasantly surprised to find nothing extra when I connected the device--just an empty DOS formatted volume ready to begin using. I would highly recommend this device to anyone, especially at the price I paid (about $7). The cap even attaches to the other end of the device when in use so it won't get lost--nice touch. I barely had this jump drive 24 hours after I had put it on my keyring. The jump drive keyring hole broke. 2GB for $12 is great but I wanted something that I could put on my keyring so it would always be with me. Poor design. Was this review helpful?

It was instantly recognized by my computer, and works flawlessly. Seems quite fast relative to my older generation 512 meg drive which may have been USB1. No problems, and it is a slim design that fits easily even right next to another USB Device on close spaced slots. Was this review helpful?

I purchased two of these sticks. I previously purchased a Kingston about 2 years ago and it has worked great. The new sticks are smaller in size and easier to plug in. The only problem has been that on one of them the key chain slot broke. The plastic loop is thin and apparently fragile. Was this review helpful?
