Scarlett Johansson’s Debut Album Premieres Exclusively on imeem
Anywhere I Lay My Head Available Now for Free Streaming on Leading Social Network Imeem, One Week Prior to Its North American Release
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--imeem today announced that Scarlett Johansson’s highly anticipated first album, Anywhere I Lay my Head, is now available for free streaming exclusively on imeem, one week prior to its North American release on May 20, 2008.
Starting today, fans can listen to Johansson’s debut album in its entirety on her imeem profile (http://imeem.com/scarlettjohansson), where they can also find music videos and photos from the singer and actress. In addition, fans can use imeem’s embeddable audio and video widgets to easily share Johansson’s album with friends or embed it on their blogs, web sites, and profiles on other social networking services, including MySpace and Facebook. Johansson’s album will also be available for pre-order on imeem.
Anywhere I Lay My Head is a compilation of Johansson’s distinctive interpretations of ten songs by acclaimed singer and actor Tom Waits and one original composition. The album is produced by Dave Sitek (TV on the Radio) and features guest appearances from Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner, Sean Antanaitis from Celebration, and David Bowie, among others. The album will be released Tuesday, May 20, through Atco/Rhino Records.
