SYMPTOMS
When you open the
Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties
dialog box, the
Alternate Configuration
tab is not displayed.

CAUSE
This issue can occur if you did not configure the network adapter to use the
Obtain an IP address automatically
option.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, click to select the
Obtain an IP address automatically
option.
